Originally the site of an 18th century Sugar Mill Estate the Jalousie Plantation is situated on a hillside occupying 325 acres of land just above the bay that rests in between the world famous Pitons.

The mile long beach is made up of fine white sand and is situated on a marine park giving you some of the best snorkelling on the island. Tthere are no less than four restaurants serving everything from creole inspired dishes to international cuisine. There is also a heliport at Jalousie Plantation so you can arrange your own private helicopter transfer.
ROOMS
There are 112 luxury rooms in total all with aiir conditioning, with ceiling fans, mini bars, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, bathrobes, electronic safe, AM/FM clock radio, direct dial telephones with data port, TV with satellite reception and VCR. All bathrooms have bidets, hair dryers and a make-up mirror and some have private shower stalls. Each of the room categories at Jalousie have a bath tub.
The villa mountain and ocean view rooms and suites have private plunge pools. There are 6 room catergories at Jalousie, some in the sugar mill buildings and some rooms tucked away on the hillside in the form of villas & suites featuring private plunge pools. There is a complementary shuttle service to villas from the reception area.
Villa Room (no plunge pool)- Expansive bedroom with spacious bathroom and dressing rooms, sitting area and open terrace.
Sugar Mill Room - ideal for families with younger children as they are closer to the main facilities – offer spacious rooms with a terrace overlooking the gardens towards the pool and beach
Villa Mountain/Ocean View Room - are tucked away in cottages on the hillside to offer a sense of privacy whilst taking full advantage of the stunning views.
Villa Suite Mountainview/Oceanview - Villa Suites feature separate sitting area. Located in a very quiet area of the resort, with the Piton Mountains and the Caribbean Sea view rooms available. Electronic Voice Mail Service, Iron and Board, Villa Suites have Ocean and Mountain View.

With four world class restaurants you will never be stuck for choice from the sophisticated Plantation room serving international cuisine to the casual Pier Restaurant. If you would prefer more privacy you can take advantage of the resorts 24 hour room service or butler service (charges may apply).
All non-motorised watersports are complementary such as snorkelling, canoes/kayaks and winsurfing. Tennis and squash courts are available as well. The plantation boasts St.Lucia's only championship golf course 6,813 yards offering breathtaking ocean views and the best golf layouts in St.Lucia, there is also a putting green.
